Many new beginners don’t take into consideration what and how Google’s ranking factors affect their website. Simply putting there are 130 Trillion web pages indexed by Google. If you think about this huge number then the next logical question comes into mind is “Do I stand a chance?”
The answer to this question is “YES”. Even if the number of blogs in any niche is huge there are still chances for everyone to get their share of traffic from Google. This is possible only if you play by the rules of Google’s ranking factors. Being consistent and original in your content is one of the big factors when it comes to ranking in Google search. In this digital marketing presentation, we will further understand these points in detail.
As we talked earlier about the number of indexed pages on Google, to beat those competitors you need to be patient as every website has an age of maturity. Any new website either a blog or product website takes some time before getting some traffic on their pages. This is usually because the newly launched website has to go through a Sandbox period.
To put it in simple words, Google doesn’t trust the new websites and there is a probation period on them, once they clear this probation period, they start getting ranking and traffic. Even after your website has come out of this period, it will still take time for ranking

Hosting – If you have a huge budget and can easily afford private hosting then go for that. Comparing it to shared hosting, private hosting gives you a server all to itself. The main challenge while creating content is to stand out with your content from your competitors on similar topics. Google doesn’t rank content that is plagiarised or almost similar to other content that is ranking on the first page.
For your content to rank, you need to write about the subject with points that haven’t been talked about before or at least cover in a better way than your competitors have done.

The concept behind YMYL – YMYL stands for (Your Money or Your Life) there are few subjects that are directly responsible for a person’s life in terms of health and finance. The wrong information on these 2 topics could affect a person’s life in a negative way. For example, Heath and Money related matters where the opinions of subject matter are required rather than a person who is running a blog.
If you are subject matter in terms of finance or health then you can go ahead and create a website on these two niches, although you will still need to establish your credibility on the internet before you can get a good amount of visitors coming to your website.
The concept behind having credibility for ranking is called EAT which comes from Google quality guidelines
Example: If you are searching for T-Shirt online then the EAT requirement is probably not that high but if you are searching for any information related to any disease then EAT matters hugely.
So, before choosing a niche try to understand if that niche is health-related or money-related or if that niche requires an expert in that domain.

In 2018 there was a Google algorithm update, many websites lost most of their traffic and after some search, it was found that most of the websites belonging to the health niche lost their traffic.

After content, the most important factor for increasing traffic and creating a successful blog is to create as many as possible backlinks from a genuine website by doing guest posts and other off-Page activities.
Backlinks are like a trust vote which are given from another website to your website in form of links. There are mainly 2 variations of backlinks i.e do-follow and no-follow.
Do-Follow backlinks are the one that passes the authoritative of one website to others. No-Follow backlinks are don’t pass the link juice.
The takeaway from Step 10 – Always focus on getting more and more backlinks from another websites. Make sure your get do-follow backlinks and for maximum benefits.
